Quin

Quin is a village and parish in south east Clare. Its main attraction is Quin Abbey, which was built on the foundations of an earlier Norman castle. The name of the village is a reference in ancient Irish to the original five roads out of the village. Quin is 8.9km from the county town of Ennis. Local amenities include St Mary's Church, Clooney Quin GAA club, a post office, credit union, shops and pubs.
