Merrion Square
Merrion Square is a Georgian garden square on the southside of Dublin city centre in the Dublin 2 postcode region. While famous former residents include Daniel O'Connell, WB Yeats and Oscar Wilde, most of Merrion Square is today made up of office accommodation with The Irish Red Cross and the Irish Georgian Society amongst those who have their headquarters on the Square. Three sides are lined with Georgian redbrick houses, while the West side abuts the grounds of Leinster House, Government Buildings, the National History Museum and the National Gallery. The central railed-off garden is now a public park. There are bus stops on the north and southside of the park with a Dublin Bike stand also present.
