Lettermore is a Gaeltacht village in Co Galway. It is also the name of an island, linked by road to the mainland, on which the village sits. Lettemore island is in two halves. The eastern half is known as Lettermore, while the western half is known as Lettercallow. The area is known for its sandy beaches and clear crystal waters. The Connemara Isles Golf Club is located in Letttermore. Other local amenities include a Mace supermarket and a pub, Tigh Plunkett. There is also two national schools.
