Kincasslagh
Kincasslagh is a small Gaeltacht seaside village in the Rosses area of Co Donegal. Despite its small population, it has earned international recognition over the years due to local singer Daniel O'Donnell. There Viking Hotel is nearby and was formerly owned by O'Donnell while Mullaghduff and Burtonport are neighbouring villages. The local primary school is Scoil Náisiúnta Béal na Cruite with the nearest secondary school in Dungloe. There is one pub in the village, Iggy's, and one grocery shop, The Cope. Kincasslagh is also the nearest village to Cruit Island, which boasts a very popular golf course. The local GAA team is Naomh Mhuire CLG which covers the greater Lower Rosses area. The local soccer team is Keadue Rovers. Kincasslagh is also just three miles from Donegal International Airport.
