Kilworth is a village in north Cork. It is located about 2km north of Fermoy near the River Funcheon. The M8 Cork to Dublin motorway passes nearby. Kilworth has an army camp, which is located on the R639 regional road between Mitchelstown and Fermoy. Amongst the amenities in the area include Kilworth Arts Centre, a tennis club, a hunting/harriers club and Kilworth Forest. There is also a school, church, supermarket and pubs. Teagasc also has an agricultural research facility just outside the village at Moorepark.
