Killygordon
Killygordon is a small village in the Finn Valley in east Donegal. It is located on the N15 between Ballybofey and Castlefinn. The separate townland of the Crossroads lies half a mile from Killygordon. The River Finn passes by the village on its way towards its confluence with the River Mourne and the River Foyle. Killygordon has one pub, St. Patrick's Catholic church at the Crossroads, a Presbyterian church at Liscooley and St Anne's Church of Ireland at Monellan. There is also a castle at Monellan, two miles outside the village. There is a local Gaelic football team, Aodh Rua and a hurling team, Setanta, who play in separate grounds both at the Crossroads. There is also two primary schools in Killygordon and one in The Crossroads. A bus services connects the village with Stranorlar and Strabane where onward journeys are possible.
