Inch is a village and townland in Co Kerry. It is located 25km east of Dingle and is a further 31.5km from Tralee. Both of these locations can be accessed by a regular bus service operated by Bus Éireann. Inch is best known for its beach. Inch strand consists of 5km of sandy beach, for bathing, surfing and sea angling. The film 'Playboy of the Western World' was shot entirely at Inch as was scenes from the film 'Ryans Daughter'. Sea Otters and seals bask in the sunshine rearing their young, Dolphins dive gracefully in the bay and gannets fly like arrows into the crystal waters. There are a number of B&Bs in the area as well as a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
