Herbertstown
Herbertstown is a village in south east Limerick. It is located around 10km from Bruff on the road from Limerick City to Hospital. The village is split between two civil parishes: Kilcullane and Ballinard. The River Camogue flows to the west of the village, parallel to the main street. It is a tributory of the River Maigue. Neighbouring villages include Caherconlish, Ballinard, Ballinamona, Ruthagh and Cahercorney. Local amenities include a national school, community centre, two pubs, a post office, church and farmers' co-op in the village. The town also boasts a football club and GAA club while the nearby Lough Gur is popular for fishing.
