Finea
Finea is a small village on the Westmeath/Cavan border, which straddles the R394 road. Parts of it can be in either Westmeath or Cavan, although the majority of Finea is in the Leinster county. Finea lies on land between Lough Sheelin and Lough Kinale and the bridge crosses the River Inny flowing between them. Bus Éireann route 447 provides a link to Castlepollard, Crookedwood and Mullingar on Thursdays only while the nearest railways station is in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford, around 22km away. Local amenities include shops, pubs and a post office.
