Dunquin is a Gaeltacht village in west Kerry. It is located at the western tip of the Dingle Peninsula, overlooking the Blasket Islands, around 20km from Dingle, which can be accessed via bus. At 10°27'16"W, it is the most westerly settlement of Ireland although nearby Dunmore Head is the most westerly point of mainland Ireland. The area boasts dramatic cliff scenery while there is a museum in the village which also attracts plenty of tourists. There are a number of B&Bs and hostels in the area as well as the Blasket Island ferry. There is also a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants....
