Dublin 2 is part of Dublin city centre on the opposite side of the River Liffey to Dublin 1. Dublin 2 is within walking distance of all the main shopping areas, pubs and clubs, famous tourist attractions, museums, the concert hall and galleries. The area has excellent transport links with the LUAS (tram), DART (train), taxis and many buses. The area borders Dublin 8 and Dublin 4. Focal points in the area include Temple Bar, Baggot Street, Leeson Street Dame Street, Trinity College, College Green, the shopping streets of Grafton Street, Dawson Street, Kildare Street and St. Stephen's Green, the tourist attractions of Dublin Castle the Olympia theatre, Leinster House, the Natural History Museum and the Museum of Modern Art.
