Croom is a village in Co Limerick. It is located just of the N20 on the River Maigue and is 8km south east of Adare. Amongst the local attractions are Croom Castle and Croom Civic Centre, which includes a restaurant, library, computers and function hall. There is also a small selection of shops and pubs in the village as well as a primary school and a secondary school. The well-known thoroughbred horse stud Islanmore Stud is on the south side of the village while there is also a GAA club and soccer club.
