Clarina is a village in Co Limerick. It lies between Mungret and Kildimo on the N69 road about 9km west of Limerick City. It is close to the River Maigue, which is a tributary of the River Shannon and enters the Shannon estuary between Limerick city and the mouth of the Deel river, Askeaton, county Limerick. Clarina is within the Patrickswell-Ballybrown parish. The main area of interest is the nearby location of Carrigogunnell Castle. Limerick City can be accessed by bus with local amenities including St Joseph's National School, a nursing home, an equine clinic, a community centre, a montessori school, a filling station, shops and pubs.
