Bullaun
Bullaun is a village in east Galway. It lies 6km north east of Loughrea on the R350 and shares its parish with New Inn. There are many ancient land features scattered throughout the village, as exemplified by placenames such as Ballyara and Turoe. The townland of D4 Lakafinna, to the South of Bullaun, contains an old castle and the local water scheme. There is also a river which flows through Bullaun called the Dunkelling River. Local amenities include St Patrick's Church, The Harbour Bar, a pet farm and garden centre. There is also a hurling club called Sarsfields.
