Blarney is a town and townland in Co Cork. It lies 8km north-west of Cork City and is famed as the site of Blarney Castle, home of the legendary Blarney Stone. As a result the area is a popular tourist destination with people coming from near and far to see the castle, kiss the stone and to shop at Blarney Woolen Mills.
