Ballymoe is a village in the north of Co Galway. It is situated on the western side of the River Suck, which separates Co Galway from Co Roscommon. The N60 secondary road meets the R360 regional road in the centre of the village. Ballyhaunis in Co Mayo is 24km west while Roscommon town is 21.5km to its south east. Local amenities include the Fr Flanagan Memorial Centre, which has a wide range of functions, two shop/filling stations, shop, church, a number of pubs and a butchers.
