Dublin 24 is one of the biggest suburban areas in Dublin. It is mostly made up of Tallaght and borders the Dublin/Wicklow Mountains. Tallaght is a massive urban sprawl and a thriving suburb of Dublin. The area is home to ‘The Square’ shopping centre, Tallaght Institute of Technology, The Civic Theatre, the National Basketball arena, Shamrock Rovers FC and Tallaght Hospital (Adelaide and Meath Hospital Dublin). Dublin 24 also includes the areas of Ballycoolin, Ballycullen, Bohermabreena, Citywest, Firhouse, Greenhills and Kingswood. Dublin 24 has excellent transport links including road networks such the M50, Naas road and Newlands Cross, an excellent bus service and the red luas line which travels into Dublin city centre.
