Outside there is an enclosed front decking with hot tub, as well as off-road parking for two cars and additional on-site parking. Within 1.4 miles you will find a shop and within 1.3 miles, a pub and please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot and highchair are also available. Valley Lodge 33 is a fabulous base for a family escape to Cornwall. There are taverns and a few shops in this quaint little town. The settlement is located at the beginning of the beautiful Tamar Valley Railway, which runs along the riverbank all the way to Plymouth. Dartmoor, the beaches of both the south and north coasts, and the wonders of Cornwall's westernmost region are all easily accessible from here. Nearby attractions include the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele House and Gardens (NT), all less than ten minutes away, as well as the Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its pannier market, pubs, and restaurants. Play a round of golf at nearby St. Mellion, travel four miles to the restored Victorian mining village of Morwellham Quay, hunt for otters and deer along the Tamar Valley footpath, travel twenty-five miles to the beach and picturesque harbour of Looe, and you'll find that there's something for everyone here. Take the Tamar Valley Railway for a unique day trip to Plymouth, where you can enjoy the city's fantastic Marine Aquarium and the historic Plymouth Hoe. Amenities Electric wall heaters.
