Dartmoor, the beaches of both the south and north coasts, and the wonders of Cornwall's westernmost region are all easily accessible from here. Nearby attractions include the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele House and Gardens (NT), all less than ten minutes away, as well as the Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its pannier market, pubs, and restaurants. Play a round of golf at nearby St. Mellion, travel four miles to the restored Victorian mining village of Morwellham Quay, hunt for otters and deer along the Tamar Valley footpath, travel twenty-five miles to the beach and picturesque harbour of Looe, and you'll find that there's something for everyone here.
