Description(Reference number: 77819)
Close to Santa Monica airport, and with the beach just a five-minute drive away, this LA home is more than meets the eye. A comfortable, detached single-storey house with a separate music studio, all sorts of musicians have stayed and worked here over the years. Created by one of the founders of Trotsky Icepick in the mid-1980s, it's been used by major record labels and well-known sound engineers, and recently hosted Australia's top electronic dance group, Rufus du Sol. That aside, the home has been freshly remodelled, with bright, sociable living space, relaxing bedrooms and sleek, modern bathrooms. There's a well kitted-out kitchen for meals at home, and you'll be within an easy drive of numerous excellent dining options. The outdoor space is another of this home's little surprises. With a pretty yard, fruit trees and a covered outdoor lounge area, there's plenty of room for your group to spread out. The heated saltwater pool is a new addition and comes with an infinity Jacuzzi, a deep end for diving and shallow shelves for sunbathing. Just across the road from a park and a golf course, this is a quiet neighbourhood and the host has curated self-guided bike tours for keen cyclists – including Venice and Santa Monica beaches and the Venice canals.
*The music studio is 600 square feet, with a live room, control room, isolation booths, triple-pane glass windows between rooms, and silent air conditioning

*Pool maintenance is normally on Tuesdays, and landscape maintenance on Wednesdays
