The Annexe is located a 5-minute stroll into the town centre with its wonderful mix of amenities. These include many family friendly bars, restaurants, tea shops, ice cream parlours and a myriad of quaint shops and boutiques along the historic cobbled streets of the East Cliff. Popular with visitors all year round, Whitby is well-known for its long sandy beach, and delicious seafood that can be enjoyed whatever the weather. Climb the famous 199 steps to reach the ruins of Whitby Abbey which is said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stokerâ€™s â€™Count Draculaâ€™. Its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in the beautiful views over this popular seaside town. Whitby offers something for everyone, whether itâ€™s getting away with the family for some seaside fun or long romantic walks along the coast, and dining in excellent restaurants and award winning fish and chip shops.
