(Reference number: 78747) Just steps away from the banks of the Seine, this beautiful, bright apartment in Paris’ 6th arrondissement is an ideal base from which to explore the city’s most famous sights. Tall ceilings, wood floors and contemporary furnishings create a warm welcome in the main room with large glass doors leading out onto a private, leafy garden. Start mornings off here among the plants with your morning coffee and croissants, or spend evenings relishing your outdoor space with a glass of French wine and some cheese from the local fromagerie. On colder days, snuggle up on the sofa with one of the books from the shelves or sit down to an intimate meal at the sleek kitchen’s breakfast bar. With a cosy mezzanine bedroom to drift you into a peaceful night’s sleep and a beautiful red bathroom to boot, you’ve got everything you need for an easy-going stay. Outside of your home, you’ve got stunning riverwalks to enjoy along the Seine just outside your door, Notre Dame is an eight-minute walk away, the Louvre is nine minutes on foot and the Luxembourg Gardens are a ten-minute stroll from your door. Factor in the cosy cafes, restaurants and patisseries in your neighbourhood as well as the shops around Chatelet Les Halles (a twelve-minute walk), and you've got plenty of entertainment within easy reach. Home truths: *This home is located on the ground floor but there are internal stairs leading up to the mezzanine bedroom, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility *There's no real dining table here but there's a breakfast bar in the kitchen area *The mezzanine bedroom has a low ceiling *The host's dog normally lives here and although he won't be there during your stay those with severe allergies may wish to look elsewhere *There's no parking here, but we recommend skipping the car and making use of Paris' excellent public transport instead – Odéon station is a three-minute walk away *Gare du Nord (for Eurostar) is a thirteen-minute direct Metro ride away from Odéon station on Line 4 .
