Home truths: * The third bedroom has a queen-over-queen bunk bed, which sleeps eight people in total. There's also a day bed in this room. We think the set-up here is more comfortable for children. * The ski-in, ski-out access here works well, though it's worth noting that it's not straight from the slope to your door. You'll ski down to the lift, and then come back via a different trail. * Your host provides a starter set of consumables – soap, paper products, dish and laundry detergent, towels, and similar basics – but once these run out, restocking is down to you. It's worth picking up supplies on the way in, particularly for longer stays. * Note that the nearby lodge is a private club and not open to the public – you won't be able to buy lift tickets or access its pool and gym facilities. * A car is necessary here – and four-wheel drive is required during the winter.
