(Reference number: 154567) It’s no surprise this forest lodge has scooped a few architectural awards in its time. Those floor-to-ceiling windows with forest vistas are jaw-dropping. Prime for a multi-generational family stay, there’s heaps of space to spill out across the two-level home, and a wood-stacked fireplace invites relaxation. Interiors-wise, it’s all on the right side of homely – although some of the artwork is a touch eclectic and the kitchen a little dated. But for a home in such a unique location, we can look past that. You’re a fifteen-minute drive to the Troodos Mountains and fifty minutes to the Limassol coast. Meanwhile, Platres Village (home to some of Cyprus’ most renowned wineries), is just five minutes on foot. Home truths: *The home is accessible via a private road, and there’s private parking for up to five cars. *Though the local village with amenities is within walking distance, we recommend hiring a car to make the most out of your stay. *There are stairs to tackle both inside and outside of this home, which may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. *Although not photographed, there is a hot tub at this property.
