Pego is a large market town lying within a fertile valley of orange groves. The town is typical of the area with its warren of narrow streets and pathways and the spacious plaza lined with trees features a beautiful fountain. As in all Spanish towns and villages there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and the festivals held throughout the year are great to see and experience the Spanish culture.
The beautiful beaches of Javea and Denia are only a short drive away.
