Description(Reference number: 75725)
With a history almost as long and storied as Ceglie Messapica, this limestone trullo has centuries of character embedded deep within its walls and a designated national monument title to boot. Ancient olive trees and giant palms surround the home, providing welcome shade as you move about the luscious grounds. You’ll find the main home, trullo and annexe contain all the modern comforts you’d expect, and each is a refreshingly neutral space. Limestone walls keep the interior pleasantly cool during the day, ideal if you want a break from the heat outside. Alternatively, cool off in the pool before sitting down on the covered terrace for a lightly grilled lunch – it’s a beautiful poolside nook. Afterwards, while away an afternoon, gently swinging in a hammock as you get stuck into your holiday reading. If all that wasn't enough, the panoramic countryside views really push this place over the top, providing you with the authentic essence of Puglia.
*Housekeeping services, as well as a private chef, are available. Just ask your host
