Tig Drom (Drom House) is set in a haven of serenity just a mile from Cloghane on the scenic route. Its on the Dingle Way, which is a 162 km circular way-marked walking trail famous for it's dramatic and varied landscape of coastal plains, mountains, valleys, lakes and sandy beaches. Guests love this house for its unusual layout and tranquil location in the valley. On the other side of Drom Hill is the beautiful estuary/creek of Cloghane, great for picking cockles and mussels. Drom is very central to all the peninsula has to offer and only a 15 min drive from Dingle.
There are lots of wonderful walks in the area throughout the woodlands, lakes and mountains including the hike up Mount Brandon. The closest beach is the white sands of Drom (just over a mile), a small beach here even at high tide and at low tide, you can walk for miles. Other beaches close by are An Cheapaigh, a beautiful sheltered beach, great for swimming and climbing on rocks (parents of young children, please note that there is a deep channel by the rocks on this beach)and Fermoyle, a great stretch at 7km.
