Description(Reference number: 77298)
When you can enjoy your morning coffee at the Jardin des Tuileries and walk to the Louvre for the afternoon, you know you’re staying in a wonderfully central area of Paris. In the 1st arrondissement, you’ll find yourself surrounded by iconic Haussmann streets and apartment blocks, which is also home to your new base in the city. Behind this traditional building and classic courtyard entrance, welcome to ultra-modern, open-plan living with a touch of vintage opulence. Floor-to-ceiling windows light up the space, with gold low-hanging feature lighting, a marble dining table, parquet flooring, and corniced ceilings. While you can open up the windows and enjoy the French summer, underfloor heating in the en-suite bathrooms is sure to be a treat for a Parisian winter getaway. Outside, the nine-minute walk to the Louvre might be enough for some, you’ve also got the Musée de l’Orangerie and the Musée des Art Décoratifs five minutes further in either direction. Then after wandering over the aptly named Pont des Arts bridge, less than twenty minutes on foot, enjoy a few hours at the Musée d’Orsay. But we recommend taking the long way home to pass bakeries, boutiques, and delis. Grab a bottle of pinot noir and lounge on the velvet sofa – all this sightseeing can be tiring work.
* At full capacity, two of the guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the lounge
* As the location is very central, you might hear street noise below when you have the windows open
* The host can offer a premium driver service option – you'll be picked up from the airport and taken right to your door
* If you're planning to bring the whole family, a cot is available on request
