Description(Reference number: 77976)
Just five minutes from the waters of Key West, this traditional wooden house is a historic marvel in the middle of the Old Town’s shops, bars, and restaurants. As you enter the grounds leading to the porch, a rare and exotic ackee tree stands proudly, welcoming you to the home. The slatted wood is painted pastel yellow, with mint-green stairs and shutters. These eye-catching tones work in harmony to create a soft camouflage behind the bright green trees of the entrance. And we’re not even inside yet. The rich wooden interiors continue the classic Conch House vibe, with the cushy living area framed by white columns. With so many large windows, the Sunshine State lives up to its name, illuminating the entire space. All the bedrooms have exposed wooden walls, making every space feel natural, grounded, and relaxing. But out back is where we think you’ll spend most of your time. After cooking up lunch on the barbecue, gather everyone on the outdoor dining terrace – margaritas optional. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the sun loungers or floating in the heated pool. If you do need some action rather than the slow life, you’re a fifteen-minute walk from jet ski hire and other watersports.
