Home truths: * This villa sits in a secluded, wooded setting – beautiful and private, but the surrounding trails and exterior paths can feel a little hard to navigate after dark. * Previous guests have noted uneven surfaces around the courts and wear to the poolside boarding, so it's worth doing a quick walk-round when you arrive, especially if you're travelling with children. * There is a noise-monitoring device installed in the living room, calibrated to 60 decibels. With a full house of twelve, it can trip fairly easily. * The swimming pool is only available for use between June and September or mid-October. It's serviced on Tuesdays, so expect a maintenance team on site that day – the pool may be briefly out of use while they work. * Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
