Experience an exceptional beach holiday immersed in one of the world's most scenic coastal settings. Beautifully situated in Ballyconeely near Clifden, this traditional thatched cottage and idyllic log cabin are surrounded by white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and breathtaking scenery, along The Wild Atlantic Way, and directly on the beach.
The recently accredited 5-Star vacation rental occupies over three acres of unspoiled shoreline and further benefits from private access to the beach. Tastefully finished throughout with antique pine floors, wooden beams, whitewashed walls and latched stable half-doors, the property has many charming characteristics.
A cosy living room features a quaint half-door which opens onto a heavenly patio area which truly reveals the uniqueness of this coastal location with its never ending views across the bay.
A Connemara style kitchen is complete with black granite surfaces and a professional six-ring gas range oven. The large dining room comfortably seats in excess of 12 dinner guests. Conveniently, the property has two spacious double bedrooms on the ground floor, both of which are en-suite and offer fabulous sea views.
Two other bedrooms upstairs, which are both twins and also offer commanding views. One main bathroom also upstairs.
Central heating throughout the main cottage and log cabin
On the same grounds there is a really quaint little cottage/log cabin.
It is not habitable, but can be used for entertainment purposes, or whatever other reason (except sleeping!)
The last 7 photographs in the gallery are those of the little cabin.
The cottage is just over one mile from Ballyconeely village, with its shop, Keoghs famous pub and post office.
It is directly on the beach on the Roundstone Road.
Just 10 minutes from both Clifden and Roundstone, and 5 minutes from the magnificent 18 hole championship Connemara Golf Club.
