Description(Reference number: 76204)
If you want a getaway in the wilderness without being completely on the outskirts of civilisation, this property will be a match. It's found in Pipes Canyon and surrounded by three-and-a-half acres of desert in which the only others that call it home are jackrabbits, quail and roadrunners. Just next door is the Pioneertown Mountains Preserve and Joshua Tree National Park takes less than half an hour to reach by car, so it's fair to say you're covered for hiking options. After a rewarding day of exploring the Californian outdoors, you'll be more than happy to return to this peaceful home. As the sun sets, you can start up the barbecue and serve up some big flavours on the covered terrace, or instead just sit back and be hypnotised by the crackling fire pit. When the night sky turns dark and the stars dazzle, you'll feel like you're a million miles away from anybody else.
*Although there are no close neighbours, the host insists on a 10pm curfew for using the firepit
*There is wi-fi at the home, but it's not likely to be fast enough if you're using it for work purposes
