The top-floor main suite is one of our favourites – we can't resist the wooden ceilings or that stone bathtub – but the sun-kissed terrace and private pool are close seconds. Day trips are easy with Treviso and Padova within driving distance, but if you'd prefer to stay closer to home, Asolo is a twenty-minute walk away and has artisan shops and restaurants. Home truths: *The pool is available between May and October, and can be heated on request. It’s not gated, so children between 1 and 7 years old are not permitted. *Set across three levels, this home won’t suit guests with limited mobility. It’s sixteen steps to the first floor and fifteen to the main suite on the second level. *Air conditioning is only available in the living area and bedrooms. *The beds are made up of two single mattresses pushed together. *A gardener maintains the house and grounds. Behind the villa is another home belonging to the owner, but nobody currently lives there. *A first dinner, daily housekeeping, and basic grocery shop are included here. *We highly suggest hiring a car in this location.
