The beaches on Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula can be reached in about half an hour, while the beach at Dinas Dinlle is just a 10-minute drive away. Nearby, Caernarfon is home to Caernarfon Castle, which is well worth a visit, with further shops and cafes available, as well as steam train trips.
