The village which was built in 1983 as holiday village and marina, consists of two small terraces of houses and some further cottages located around the edges. It has one pub with a small shop for essentials called The Lord of The Isles. Situated on the Craignish Peninsula the waters surrounding the area are extensively used for sailing. Nature lovers and birdwatchers will enjoy the vast array of birds and wildlife which can be seen in this area and there are a number of spectacular walks for visitors to explore the surrounding countryside. Region From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity.
