Visit the nearby town of Lovere just 1km away, which is rich in history and is enlisted as one of Italy’s most beautiful towns thanks to its well preserved historical centre, Basilica Santa Maria in Valvendra and its picturesque squares. Enjoy a trip to the bustling market which takes place every Saturday morning. Visit Pisogne, an ancient medieval village, with the renowned church of Santa Maria della Neve to see the frescoes by the famous painter Romanino. From the end of March until the end of September, unforgettable cruises and boat tours are available on Lake Iseo, where you can discover breathtaking views of ancient villages with their medieval towers and palaces. Montisola, one of the most popular destinations, is Europe’s largest inhabited Lake Island. Take the ferry and explore the island and the lovely beaches on foot or by bike. Do not miss the chance to take part in the night cruises, available in summer, leaving from the nearby towns of Lovere, Sarnico and Iseo, and admire the romantic views of the shores scattered with hundreds of lights, while enjoying delicious food and wine.
