(Reference number: 77728) Who needs museums when you can stay in a building listed as a historic monument? Built in 1639 by Cardinal Richelieu, the Prime Minister under Louis XIII of France, this luxurious residence oozes Parisian charm and opulence. And with views of the Louvre Museum and the Palais Royale outside your window, you'll be pleased to know that you can, in fact, have it all as you'll be living in a historical monument, right next door to one of the world's most renowned museums. If that's not more than you bargained for, then get a load of the stunning interiors adorning every last square inch of the apartment. From the glass-roofed lounge inviting in exceptional views and tons of natural light to the marble dining room table that accommodates up to 12 guests – quality is of the essence at this home. We particularly love the free-standing bubble baths featured in some of the bedrooms – you'll feel like royalty as you soak the day away with a glass of French wine in hand. Home truths: *On the day of departure, you can leave your bags in the apartment until 12pm while the cleaning is being done, but after this time you'll have access to a paid locker service next to the apartment *Professional photo and video shoots are not permitted in this home *The host kindly asks that you are conscious of the neighbours during your stay here, meaning no noise in the common areas of the building *If you break any of the house rules, a penalty charge of your deposit will be taken and you may be asked to leave *There is a 170 euro fee to pay if you lose any set of keys *A baby's crib, travel cot, high chair and babysitter recommendations are all available at the apartment *Paid parking is available, off the premises
