Bonane House was originally a priestâ€™s residence for the adjacent church built circa 1895. Sympathetic renovations by its current owners have maintained some of the original features, turning it into a modern family residence and creating a home that is both impressive and welcoming. There are breath-taking views of the unspoilt countryside from every window.
This charming detached holiday home can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children in 4 bedrooms. The two-wing layout provides a luxurious retreat for extended families or a stylishly practical solution for a group of couples holidaying together but wanting some personal space. One wing contains a spacious double bedroom, a bathroom with rain shower and bath, and a large childrenâ€™s bedroom with 2 single beds. The other wing holds an elegantly furnished en-suite double bedroom and an en-suite bunkroom (these full-size beds are suitable for 2 adults if necessary).
Downstairs, there is a spacious, contemporary kitchen with a log burner. A warm and cosy sitting room is perfect for relaxing and watching the sun set over the Sheen Valley, perhaps accompanied by a glass of local Bertha Gin. The kids can work off any last bit of energy in the childrenâ€™s playroom before retiring to their comfy bedrooms.
Outdoors, the property has 3 acres of mature gardens to relax in and woodland to explore â€“ donâ€™t be surprised to see deer roaming through the trees or into the garden. The house and its magnificent location provide the perfect backdrop for a family holiday, a celebration for a special occasion, or a friendsâ€™ reunion.
