The cottage is built and furnished to a very high standard and has a real charm that will make you never want to leave. There are oak floors throughout, with tasteful furniture and a great working kitchen. The whole house is very bright and the open plan layout (the living room ceiling goes up to the roof) gives a lovely feel.
The bathroom is beautifully designed with old-style bath and a separate shower room with powerful shower. Both bedrooms are spacious, tastefully designed and comfortable. The living room has panoramic views and features open fire and wall mounted flat screen tv.
The views are second to none â€“ Ballyboes overlooks Greencastle golf course, Lough Foyle, Magilligan beach and Stroove lighthouse. There is a large patio and garden - all with great views. The house is ideally located just off a side road of the main Greencastle-Stroove road. You will simply love the house and the location.
Within 2 km, or walking distance, a few local pubs can be visited; The 'Drunken Duck' is possibly the better known one; and it also has a fine restaurant specialising in sea food. 'Sean-TÃghe's' and Michael John's are two other local pubs. A little further in Greencastle you will find others; - and a drive to nearby Moville will yield greater variety, including fast food, Chinese, fine restaurants, pubs, and more. If that's not enough, a short trip to the city of Derry, should satisfy most, with the addition of night clubs, discos, theatres and cinemas.
