DescriptionCurrently being run as a small and enchanting family hotel with eight rooms in total, six double and two single, each with their own individual style of decor.(Each room has its own bathroom, air-conditioning and heating).
With the countryside almost on its doorstep as well as a number of beautiful beaches, it is an ideal spot for long walks or simply to relax. There are numerous possibilities in the surrounding area to enjoy a variety of activities, sports, as well as excursions to places of interest. Built on the hillside at the foot of the impressive headland of Cabo Cope, the panoramic views are without equal. The exterior of the building itself reflects the architectural details of the old houses of the region, from the vibrant colours to the antique brickwork of the garden walls, pathways and terraces. The tiles and blue shutters, together, reinforce the building´s classical Mediterranean air. In the interior you will find an attractive combination of both classical and modern decor, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Appreciate the sunsets from the balcony which overlooks both the sea and the blue/green hills of southern Spain.
Situated approximately 5 minutes walk from the Calabardina beach; a little further, although still within walking distance, are other lesser-known beaches.
A variety of leisure pursuits are available nearby, from interesting walks in the countryside or along the seashore, cycling, scuba diving or simply bathing in the warm Mediterranean sea. If you wish to go further afield, you can visit the nearby town of Aguilas where you will find a cinema, shopping centre, gyms and a Spa.
The property could be used, as now, as a small family hotel and ongoing successful business, or due to the way it has been made into a hotel, could easily be remodelled with little effort into a spacious family home, if wished.
The village of Calabardina, now a favourite destination for holidays and long weekends, is surrounded by open countryside. It is free from the everyday hustle and bustle of modern life yet within easy travelling distance of many places of interest.. The fishing port of Aguilas (population 35,000) is situated approx 6 km away on the south-west coast of the province of Murcia, close to the border with Almeria.
