There are many lakes in the area so it is an angler's paradise, and if fishing is not your thing then there are plenty of walking opportunities to take in the glorious scenery. A little further away are the Aran Islands, and a boat trip across to the islands can give you a taste of traditional Irish life. This area is the perfect place to relax and escape for a while. Region Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes.
