Local anecdotes and archaeological evidence present a picture of absenteeism, land clearance, and emigration. A beautiful and unique defensive Famine Wall still surrounds the house. The wall, a unique vernacular structure, was built around the house as the final public works project designed to alleviate suffering during the famine in 1847.\n\nFeatures:\nTwo double bedrooms\nOne twin bedroom\n1 bathroom\nSeparate shower room, suitable for assisted physically challenged\nOpen fire\nOil fired central heating\nWashing machine\nIron and ironing board\nRadio\nTravel cot for babies, on request\nGarden\nGarden furniture.Thinking of selling? We have the right buyers if you have the right property.Five Star International - Targeted global audienceTel: +353 (0)1 566 8494Email: admin@fivestar.ie"
