LOCATION: The property is located in the townland of Tullycommon, Carron on a secondary road between North Clare and Galway the L1014 and in the heart of The Burren. The Burren is internationally famous for its karst limestone landscape, unusual combination of flora, thousands of archaeological sites, unique farming traditions and also its remarkable assemblage of plants and animals where over 70% of Ireland species of flowers can be found here. It is because of these unusual features, most of the Burren is designated by the European Union as a Special Area of Conservation. There are numerous walks and trails dotted around the area including The Green Road, Mullaghmor, Lough Avalla to name a few. Other places of interest include Poulnabroune Dolmen, Caherconnell Stone Fort and Café, Michael Cusack Centre and Ailwee Caves. Corofin is only 10km away, with multiple shops, bars and restaurants available. Further afield Kilfenora is 12km, Ballyvaughan 18km, Ennistymon and Gort are both only a 25minute drive.
