Former Station House (1870) on circa 0.2 acres.
Unusual and characterful building. Opened in 1870, Tubber station was closed in June 1963.
It has been a residence for many years and retains many of the original features, including most of the platform, original pitch pine interior doors and stairs, and the station sign. This listed building has been slightly modernised. The railway line has been fenced off, so residents are kept from the circa 10 trains per day . The station now is circa 50metres from the Ennis – Gort motorway, but is largely screened from noise by an embankment. There are four bedrooms, one bathroom. Land included in the sale is approx 0.2 acres.
