From Dublin take the N4 through Longford and on to Newtownforbes. The road turns into a Dual Carriageway about 6km from Newtownforbes. Take this to the end. Go c.5km and see an exit on your left for “Drumsna”. Go to the top of the slip road and make a right. Go c. 500 meters and cross the N4. Make a left at the roundabout. Go c. 400 meters and take your first right. (At Garvey’s Garage). Go. c.1km and make a left for “Effrinagh”. Go c.2km. The cottage is on the right side.
