Directions
From Dublin you need to get onto the N3 Navan/Cavan Road.
From City Centre – Take M3 to exit 6 sign posted Dunshaughlin. At roundabout take 2nd exit, take 1st exit at next roundabout and then 1st exit signposted ‘Killeen Castle’ at the next. Continue for approximately 1km and see access to Killeen Castle on the right hand side.
From the Airport head southbound on the M50 motorway to the last exit before the tollbridge at Junction 6 signposted Cavan. From South Dublin head northbound on the M50 motorway to the first exit after the tollbridge at Junction 6 signposted Cavan.
From this exit continue North, for 15 miles approx., on the N3 to the town of Dunshaughlin. Pass through the top (north end) of the town where you will see 'Peters Bar' just before a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights continuing past schools & a GAA club until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout take the exit for Dunsany (straight across). Proceed along this road until you reach another roundabout. Take the left exit off the roundabout - the main entrance to Killeen Castle is on the right hand side ½ mile approx. down this road.
From Navan drive along the N3 (signposted Dublin) as far as the town of Dunshaughlin.
Before you arrive in Dunshaughlin, Killeen Castle is signposted via Dunsany. Follow these signs from the N3. (If you get as far as Dunshaughlin, please see directions from the town, as above)
