Description
Glen Cottage is situated within the heart of Boyne Valley minutes from
Oldbridge and site of Battle of Boyne. Records of the cottage exist back to this time when it is noted in George Story's Imperial History (1693), that Patrick Sarsfield was brought to this house.
One of only two houses along King Williams Glen, this former millers house has been tastefully and lovingly restored and extended in recent years.
The picture postcard setting nestled within mature woodland will have any lover of natural surroundings fall head over heals. However, internally the house is also a real treat. Restored to former glory, the house has never seen better days.
