Originally built by the O'Byrne family it was the Manor House on a large estate stretching across Moneyteigue, Clone and Coolahullen. Unfortunatly the house was burnt down in the 1798 Rebellion but was beautifully restored around 1805 and later became a popular guesthouse for the area. Overall the accommodation at Clone House presents acomfortable family home with fine reception rooms for entertaining, yet is extremely manageable. Retaining many of its original features the house has great character and has been beautifully and patiently restored. GARDENS & GROUNDSThe gardens and grounds surrounding the residence are extremely well kept and the garden has been well planned to provide color and privacy. The house connect seamlessly with the gardens and wider setting, with views extending to the surrounding mountains. This linking to the garden is exemplified not only by the abundance of windows offering garden views but also through several doors that link the property to various partsof the gardens and grounds.
