Description

A hidden paradise sums up this spectacular coastal residence which is literally less that a stones throw from the waters edge. The house is a traditional lofted cottage that was greatly extended and fully renovated to a very high standard in recent years. The cottage would date back to the 1800's it retains many of its original features with the obvious ones been the massive thick stone built walls and the large stone built granite open fireplace in the living room. The house is very open plan with a wide entrance hall that leads into the living room and a ground floor bedroom in the original cottage and on the opposite end there is a full wet room shower room. The kitchen / dining room / living room features a top quality oak fitted kitchen with integrated appliances and a Belfast sink. The combined dining & living room feature two sets of French doors, the room also features a stone built open fireplace and semi circular end wall with windows overlooking the sea. There is a well equipped utility room off the kitchen - it has rear door access. The first floor provides two bedrooms and a spacious mezzanine area which would make a perfect fourth bedroom when the need for extra sleeping accommodation arose or an office. The master bedroom is a spectacular room not alone for its space but for the enviable views it enjoys over the bay and the large balcony that it has direct access onto. The site has a perfect aspect taking in all the sun from morning till evening. Its setting along this rugged coastline positions the property ideally for exploring the many islands and beaches in the region by land or by sea. There is a public Quay beside the property and others scattered through out the island where boats can be moored. To avoid disappointment immediate viewings of this outstanding property are strongly advised as properties of this calibre rarely present themselves for sale especially ones with sea access so close.
