Description
For those not familiar with the area, Kildakey lies 8km north west of the heritage town of Trim which is set on the banks of the River Boyne and home to the magnificent King John’s Castle amongst other wonderful medieval structures. The town of Athboy is 6km and Ballivor Village is 6.5km. For those who are familiar with Kildalkey, they will no doubt recognise it as quaint village with distinctive character.
Tucked in off the road over a quiet avenue, Bellview Court has proved instantly popular with those in search of good family living. The primary school, R.C. church and G.A.A. are located on grounds immediately surrounding the development making it a safe haven. In addition, the village provides for a filling station with shop and post office, two public houses, a parochial hall and a credit union. As well as servicing villager’s requirements, the village serves as a service centre to the surrounding principally agriculturally based community. There is a secondary school bus service from Kildalkey to schools in both Athboy and Trim. The opening of the M3 motorway in July this year will without doubt add to the popularity of the area from a commuter prospective.
Whilst the Kildalkey provides for the essential shopping requirements, the main retailers including Tesco, Dunnes Stores, Lidl, Aldi, SuperValu, B & Q, Woodies DIY & Garden Centre and Marks & Spencer are within an easy ten to thirty minute drive.
The beautiful countryside rich with heritage makes Meath an ideal spot for walkers, hikers and cyclists. Sports and recreation are well provided for within the village including football, hurling, badminton, shooting/gun club & I.C.A. Also available nearby are a number of excellent golf courses at Trim, Navan, Kells and Delvin. Equestrian centres cater for different types of riding and levels of ability or why not enjoy steeplechase events at Fairyhouse Racecourse? The River Boyne, only a couple of minutes drive, provides great fishing opportunities while water enthusiasts can explore the various boating and canoeing treats on the nearby Royal Canal.
Bellview Court at present comprises eleven wonderful detached family homes featuring an attractive yellow brick façade set around a large green open area and Phase 2 will lead to the completion of the development to include an additional six houses with a nice amount of extra open space. The initial phase proved popular with a range of buyers who cited several unique selling features including the low density layout and small scale of the development amongst other features.
These new detached homes span an impressive 1,818 sq.ft. (163 square metres) in floor area being laid out in an interesting double fronted “storey and a half” layout which is sympathetic with the atmosphere and architecture of a rural village.
