Benalmadena is situated near Malaga on the Mediterranean coastline of Costa del Sol in Andalusia, Southern Spain. It is located between the borroughs of Torremolinos (to the east) and Fuengirola (to the west). To the north it is bordering on Alhaurín de la Torre, Mijas Pueblo and to the south with the Mar de Alborán which is the Mediterranean Sea. The borough is divided in different areas, Benalmádena Costa, on the sea; the Puerto Deportivo of Benalmádena, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Pueblo. The highest peak here is the Cerro del Moro with almost 1000 m, from here one can have wonderful views across the Costa del Sol, Benalmadena and to the coast of Northafrica and Gibraltar.
